St. John's Sideroad West STORY BOARD

A parcel of land on the north side of St. John’s Sideroad located in the area of Yonge Street and Bathurst Street is currently under construction.

The Shining Hill Aurora Phase 2, double-density residential development on an extremely environmentally sensitive area of Oak Ridges Moraine protected by OPA 37, was approved by Council Term 2018-2022 on June 23rd, 2020, originally intended to accommodate “primarily low-intensity, environmentally sensitive residential development.” Unfortunately, Phase 2 approval was seamless and an easy pass for the developer.
