Emerging Green

We heard the sounds of the first thunder.

Finally, spring arrived (physically), but for how long nobody knows. However, we were blessed with a beautiful weekend. Temperatures reached double digits. People were wearing short sleeves and shorts. As usual, birds were singing away, but for them, it doesn’t matter if it is cold or warm. People were doing spring cleaning inside and outside. Garden centres were filled with people. We heard the sounds of the first thunder. And the best sign of all, the green grass started to show its true colours. I hope everyone in Aurora enjoyed their weekend as much as I did.

If you look closely at the photo, you will see the green shades on the rolling hills.

My curiosity doesn’t come with all the answers—it comes with a genuine desire to understand and to connect. At the heart of it, I care. I care about how communities grow, how conversations unfold, and how we make space for different perspectives—even when it’s uncomfortable. I don’t claim to have it all figured out. But I keep asking. I keep listening.
