Beautiful sunsets over the Town of Aurora do exist. In the middle of the field on the hill surrounded by critters in the grass and some unknown creatures hiding I stood there for almost one hour to capture this beautiful sunset. Last night it happened to be a very clear evening and I just didn’t want to miss the opportunity. As the sun was setting on the horizon above me a beautiful half moon was rising. The one side of the half moon looked mysterious as always.
“Dusk is just an illusion because the sun is either above the horizon or below it. And that means that day and night are linked in a way that few things are there cannot be one without the other yet they cannot exist at the same time. How would it feel I remember wondering to be always together yet forever apart?”
― Nicholas Sparks, The Notebook
My photo tip is to never take for granted what’s behind you. Once the sun really disappeared I did look behind me. The State Farm building in the middle of nowhere on the East was reflecting the red sky. I was surprised by the outcome. That’s how it is – expect the unexpected when least expected.
“Never waste any amount of time doing anything important when there is a sunsets outside that you should be sitting under!” ― C. JoyBell
