Canada Day Parade 2015 in Aurora – Memorable Moments

Another great Canada Day Parade in the Town of Aurora, Ontario. It is always a wishful thinking that after that last parade float there will be one more. But, there are always fireworks later on.

I am grateful for the opportunities I have been given to participate in that work as a representative of my country, Canada, whose people have, I think, shown their devotion to peace.” ~ Lester B. Pearson

I hope everyone enjoyed this year’s July 1st Canada Day (2015), along Yonge Street, as much as we enjoyed. It was great to see many familiar faces. Great smiles and beautiful weather.

The Auroran Photo Gallery 2014: “Aurorans turned out in droves, braving uncertain weather to celebrate Canada’s 147th birthday in Canada’s Birthday Town! Some got wet, but it failed to dampen their spirits as Aurora’s Canada Day parade, using various modes of transportation, above, wound its way from Orchard Heights Drive to Murray Drive.” Source: Yonge Street a sea of red and white as Aurora celebrates Canada Day

My curiosity doesn’t come with all the answers—it comes with a genuine desire to understand and to connect. At the heart of it, I care. I care about how communities grow, how conversations unfold, and how we make space for different perspectives—even when it’s uncomfortable. I don’t claim to have it all figured out. But I keep asking. I keep listening.
