Anna Lozyk Romeo for Mayor of Aurora

  1. I’m wondering which Mayoral Candidate to support. I have long thought that our downtown Area is the weakest point of the town. After living in Aurora for more the 35 years, there has been no improvements and one can argue it has become worse over that period. There is a continuous long line of traffic snarled through Yonge St but we have a very good downtown bypass (Industrial) that just needs to be developed (before it becomes impossible). Our downtown sidewalks are a patchwork of years of repairs. An affluent town like Aurora should be a lot more inviting. It’s hard for restaurant businesses to survive here because there is little to no foot traffic. Which Mayoral candidate is planning to do something on these issues?
