Smoking Needs Serious Whacking

On two separate occasions, I observed the woman smoking a cigarette in the presence of a young child.

This is a photo proof for the comment Councillor Abel made that “most people would not smoke around their children or their environment,” in THE AURORAN, Week of August 2, 2011 and in addition to my previous post “Desperate Measures, Do We Really Need More Signs?

Cameras do not lie. This incident was captured on August 13th, 2011, during a picturesque day at the Aurora Farmers Market. On two separate occasions, I observed the woman smoking a cigarette in the presence of a young child.

Upon witnessing the situation once more, it has become abundantly clear that implementing a by-law prohibiting smoking at playgrounds is imperative.

That was a disturbing moment.
