The Aurora Farmers Market on August 13th, 2011 was a truly memorable event. It was Senior’s Day, and the attendees had a fantastic time singing, listening to music, shopping, chatting, enjoying delicious food, and much more. The photos captured the joy and excitement of the day.

I must admit that I thoroughly enjoy reading the Senior Scape column, which is regularly published in THE AURORAN. To add some excitement to this post, I would like to share a few quotes from the Senior Scape column that I found particularly inspiring.

I am curious about the experience of using my first film SLR camera again and capturing images. I anticipate that my tendency to carefully preview each shot will remain and because it’s a film camera it would lead me to be more selective in the number of photos I take. In contrast to the ease of snapping hundreds of pictures a day with a digital camera, the process of shooting with film requires a more deliberate and thoughtful approach.
