The runner ran barefoot along the boardwalk.

Yesterday, we were enjoying a peaceful time along the Nokiidaa Trail Link boardwalk just before lunch when we were startled by an unexpected commotion. Suddenly, a barefoot runner appeared, creating a cacophony of noise as he pounded along the wooden planks.
We chuckled softly, but I couldn’t resist capturing a photo of the runner’s feet with my camera. The man beside me walked past, attempting to conceal a grin on his face.
A couple of days ago, I attempted to walk outside on the grass with bare feet, but I stopped myself. I remembered my teenage days and how many hornet bites I used to get every summer when I ran around barefoot.
It seems like we have a new form of running exercise in Aurora, or maybe he was from Newmarket. Nothing against the runner – I think he was brave, but I found it funny and a little wacky.
Okay, maybe a little wacky, but now I am curious.
